You may notice the comments within each post are in reverse order, newest at the top. This is to accommodate a good idea by frequent commenter D.E. Reddick for a way to post breaking news. Just click on the Breaking News Links to your top right and you can post any relevant news link (military only please) anytime, day or night. I think if you subscribe to this particular comment thread, you will get any Breaking News posted directly to your email. Pretty cool, huh?

Sorry about the confusion folks!
I don’t understand the connection between reverse order of comments, a bad idea, and Breaking News Links, a good idea.

Well, blame me for the dizziness. I’m a bit surprised that Mike decided to view things that way.
I really did think that a News thread / function was truly needed. To reinforce its creation I’ve already placed two items in “Breaking News Links.” The one dealing with the LPD-17 fiasco is worth a read (or – so I think, IMHO).
Made me dizzy for a sec..but I’m OK now.
