Douglas, me too! But instead of manned fighters, I was thinking UAV’s?
There was no video posted with the launching of the Sparrowhawk fighters, Sven. But this is pretty close to accurate don’t you think?
Thanks for posting this… I’ve always been a “fan” so to speak, of these two airship-carriers. A lot of that has to do with my fascination with the style and technology of the 1930’s, but face, the idea of a massive blimp aircraft carrier is too cool not to admire, and they’ve never quite left our imaginations (Marvel Comics’ S.H.E.I.L.D. “Helicarriers”were inspired by the Navy airship carriers).
Come on, even the video poster at youtube admits that it’s a modern animation with after-effects for looking old.
The fighter is historically inaccurate (1% accuracy).
