Heretic said : “Even Galrahn is coming around on the idea of 1000 ton corvettes as being a promising solution to the littoral waters problem:”

And just like every proponent of the mythical 1,000-ton corvette, Mr Raymond Pritchett has never been able to define, even vaguely, what his mythical 1,000-ton would look like !!!

My feeling is that, in Mr Raymond Pritchett’s mind, the mythical 1,000-ton corvette is merely a (rhetorical) patch meant to cover the numerous deficiencies of LCS, a platform to which he remains fully committed (especially the LockMart variant).

    Heretic,

It was Galrahn who first pointed out the capabilities of the U.A.E. Navy’s Baynunah class of corvettes. He plainly stated his admiration for that form of warship.
